Facilities Manager
Location: Multi-site
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of facilities across multiple sites in an educational setting. This role provides leadership to the team and ensures that the learning environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the facilities team to deliver high-quality operational support across sites.
*Develop and implement processes to maintain buildings, grounds, and resources in a school/college environment
*Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
*Oversee budgets, procurement, and maintenance schedules
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations
*Coordinate space planning, room bookings, and resource allocation
*Monitor and improve service delivery, identifying efficiencies and solutions
*Provide regular reports and updates to senior management
Requirements:
*Proven experience in facilities or estates management, ideally in an educational environment
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance
*Experience managing budgets, contracts, and maintenance schedules
*Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
*IT literate, with experience using facilities management or helpdesk systems
