Job Description:
Contract: Temporary Cover
Hours: Full-time
Location: Tunbridge Wells
I am currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to provide temporary cover within an educational setting. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, manage day-to-day caretaking duties, and support the smooth running of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out day-to-day caretaking duties across the site
*Maintain the security and safety of buildings and grounds
*Support with minor repairs, maintenance, and general DIY tasks
*Ensure cleanliness of external areas and assist with site set-ups
*Respond to urgent maintenance issues when required
*Work closely with the Estates team to keep the site safe, clean, and operational
About You:
*Previous caretaking or facilities experience, ideally within a school or similar setting
*Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills
*Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Committed to maintaining a safe environment for students and staff
Hours: Full-time
