Graduate Accounts Assistant
Chesterfield | Office-based
£24,500 + study support, bonus, pension & more
Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established manufacturing organisation in Chesterfield as they seek to appoint a Graduate Accounts Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance graduate looking to build a long-term career with exposure across all core areas of finance.
Duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:
*Processing purchase ledger invoices (Nav, moving to SAP)
*Weekly sales reporting and general financial admin
*Bank reconciliations, cash book postings and credit control
*Supporting payroll for holiday cover
*Month-end reporting and investigating variances
*Monitoring weekly orders and assisting with stock reconciliations
*Posting journals, accruals and prepayments as you develop
*Supporting full month-end, trial balance and intercompany reconciliations
*Assisting with forecasting, production analysis and board pack preparation
*Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes as you progress
This role offers clear development over several years, with increasing responsibility and the chance to build solid experience across management accounts, reporting and business analysis.
The successful candidate will be supported through professional studies, with an expectation to work towards CIMA/ACCA at minimum.
