Senior Account Executive

*Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid - 2 days in the office
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to play a critical role in supporting operations across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). This position is essential for managing new openings, handling complex product quotes, overseeing distributor relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between internal teams, properties, and regional distributors, ensuring timely execution, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:
*New Openings: Manage the end-to-end process for new hotel openings in EMEA, from setting up new accounts in Opera to coordinating product delivery.
*Customer Service & Relationship Management: Conduct proactive service calls, address feedback, resolve service issues, and maintain continuous communication with properties and head office.
*Quotes & Product Sourcing: Prepare and manage product quotes, submit sourcing requests, ensure compliance with import regulations, and coordinate with export teams for timely delivery.
*Product Queries & Complaints: Efficiently respond to queries and manage complaint resolution, providing alternatives and implementing solutions.
*Distributor Management (MEA Specific): Oversee monthly stock and sales reports, validate data, and manage price changes due to exchange rate fluctuations.
*System & Data Management: Maintain the Birchstreet system for brands in MEA, manage product data, and update order forms and price lists.
*Sampling & Promotions: Organize and dispatch samples, track inventory, and send promotional product information to hotels.
*Reporting & Support: Provide ad hoc reporting support and assist in all aspects of business operations in MEA.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum 5 years of experience in regional account management or hotel operations.
*Bachelor’s degree or higher.
*Proven success in managing complex accounts and distributor relationships.
*Experience in hospitality consumables (OSE, Textiles, Amenities) preferred.
*Strong communication and presentation skills.
*Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
*Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking ability.
*Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
*Fluent in English; additional regional languages a plus.
