Job: Senior Commercial Finance Manager (12 Month FTC)
Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Salary: £65k-£75k
Length of contract: 12 Months
My client is seeking an immediately available/short notice Commercial Finance professional to join their team on a temporary basis for 12 months. This is an established brand based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Responsibilities include:
*Business partnering to board level and senior executives, being a trusted advisor, challenging performance and aligning commercial strategy with financial outcomes
*Responsible for financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and margin analysis
*Take initiative on process improvement across the business
*Supporting the delivery of multi-year plans, building forecasts using trends and analysis
*Building models assessing P&L impact of pricing, discount strategies and commercial initiatives
*Managing a small team, with tailored growth plans for their development
Ideal candidate:
*ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Candidate
*Proven track record in fast-paced environments
*At least 7 years’ experience in FP&A/commercial roles
*Highly analytical and able to translate data into actionable insights
*Ability to manage teams and mentor junior members of staff
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
*Advanced Excel skills
*Comfortable with SAP
The client is offering hybrid work (3 days in office).
