Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: Wiltshire - Centre based

Salary: up to £35,000 + fantastic benefits package

Type: Full Time, 12-month FTC

Duties:
*Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2, to groups of learners.
*Develop tailored training / workshops and adopt a more personalised approach for individuals requiring more support.
*Identify learner’s strengths and weaknesses through initial assessment diagnostics and support them accordingly.
*Identify any barriers to learning and plan effective training based on individual learner needs.
*Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
*Ensure each learner’s progression is recorded efficiently.
Essential Criteria:
*Must hold a minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering Functional Skills English and Maths.
*Hold a recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
*Must hold own Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English.
*Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above, or Functional Skills equivalents.
*Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting
*Happy to deliver face-to-face sessions to learners.
