Position: Commercial Manager
Location: Chester (remote)
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Commercial Manager to join our client’s well established Commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong supplier relationships, driving operational improvements, and leading a small team to deliver exceptional results.
What You’ll Do
*Take ownership of sourcing and managing key services and supplies across the business
*Lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and add value to our operations
*Oversee logistics and ensure smooth delivery of essential services
*Work closely with operational teams to optimise performance and service standards
*Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring objectives are met
*Collaborate with internal departments to align commercial strategies with business goals
*Manage fleet arrangements and other commercial responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
*A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills
*Strong procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management experience
*Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
*Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
*Strong relationship builder across all levels
*Confident using Microsoft Office and other business tools
*Previous experience managing people and projects
*Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
