Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to work for a High Tech organisation in Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Role: CNC Miller (Setter)
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Miller (Setter):
*CNC Machining, and setting
*Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
*Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required.
*Using initiative to improve quality/throughput etc.
*Working to scheduled lists.
*Operate within a 5’s manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards.
About you:
*Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
*Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining
*Use of inspection tools and CMM desirable.
*Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions
*Working to high quality standards
