Job Description:
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis.
You will receive a great benefit package including Health Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to Work and Discount Hub and over-time rates at 1.5x and 2x.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm, Friday 7am – 1pm
Hourly Rate: £17 - £20p/hr
Daily Duties –
*Operate turning machines, lathes and 5 axis machines
*Follow written procedures and drawings to produce a high-quality product
*Ensure all work is carried out accurately and to production deadlines
*Manufacturing wide range of engineering components with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
Candidate Requirements –
*Engineering apprenticeship within a machine shop environment
*Previous experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
*Ability to machine products accurately to tight tolerances
*Driving Licence
