Our client is a national chartered accountancy firm recruiting an Assistant Manager for their thriving Business Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company as it goes through an exiting transition.
The post of Assistant Manager will provide a career accountant with the perfect opportunity for personal and career development and progression.
Working with a wide range of companies, the Business Services team are a key part in their clients’ growth .They provide a range of services including bookkeeping, management accounts, year-end accounts preparation, personal & corporate tax, and other accounting matters.
As Assistant Manager, you will predominantly prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, along with corporation and personal tax compliance.
You will liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, attend meetings to discuss the financial statements, provide additional advice and guidance as they may require, and generally build relationships as a trusted professional advisor. You will also assist in the development of trainees.
The Assistant Manager will work alongside other high calibre accounting staff, providing a combination of services which cover bookkeeping, management accounts, year-end accounts preparation, personal & corporate tax, and other accounting matters.
What we look for:
*You will be ACA / ACCA qualified or show that you are qualified by experience
*Fluent with a range of systems such as , Xero, Quickbooks, CCH and Sage.
*Experience working to UK regulations acting as direct liaison with clients, undertaking the same tasks as this position.
*You will possess excellent communication skills, diplomatic, confident and articulate in dealing with clients at all levels.
*Have a determined, thorough and self-motivated attitude with a great eye for detail, good organisational skills, able to work to deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
*A UK driving licence and own transport is essential
