About the Opportunity
We’re working on behalf of a highly respected, whole-of-market financial planning firm to recruit a Client Relationship Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity - a relationship-focused role, ideally suited to someone from an IFA administration or perhaps a Junior Paraplanner background who is looking to step into a more client-facing position whilst also keeping technical administrative duties as well. Great for someone who is passionate about client care and wants to take ownership of the client journey in a business that truly values relationship-building and personalised service.
Our client is known for delivering holistic financial advice and for cultivating long-term relationships with their clients. The Client Services Manager will play a key role in supporting this, working closely with the lead adviser to ensure the delivery of a first-class experience across every stage of the client journey.

You’ll be involved in all aspects of the Client journey, including taking ownership of the annual review process, including valuations, documentation, and follow-ups. You’ll play a vital role in the clients journey and be responsible for liaising within teams to ensure a smooth process. You will also attend client meetings alongside the adviser, ensuring actions are tracked and clients feel fully supported. While this role doesn’t involve research, it will include preparing basic suitability reports and assisting in day-to-day client servicing.
This is a perfect position for someone who enjoys client engagement, and thrives in a close-knit, team environment, and who loves collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing queries and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
*Lead the coordination of the annual review process from end to end, including valuations, documentation, and post-meeting actions.
*Attend client meetings with the adviser, supporting in follow-up and implementation.
*Draft basic suitability reports and maintain accurate client records.
*Work alongside the adviser to continually improve and refine the client journey.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Experience in IFA administration is essential; some paraplanning exposure is a bonus.
*Progress toward the Diploma in Financial Planning (CII or equivalent) is preferred.
*A strong interest in building client relationships and being involved in their financial journey.
*Comfortable attending client meetings and acting as a client-facing representative of the firm.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a high-quality advice process.
Benefits Include:
*Critical illness, DIS and Private Medical, as well as 5% pension and 25 days holiday.
*Full exam support to Diploma qualified, and through to Chartered.
*Hybrid working with 2 days a week from home.
