Job Description:
Tiger Private are currently looking for a practical, hands-on Property & House Manager to support a family based in Wimbledon.
This is a varied role that involves taking care of the day-to-day maintenance, running, and overall presentation of the home and nearby properties. You should be comfortable handling repairs, helping with occasional outdoor or garden tasks, and working alongside the housekeeping team to ensure the home and its contents (including silver, antiques, and key furnishings) are well looked after. The role also includes overseeing the upkeep and servicing of the family’s vehicles and animals
As well as being very hands on, there is a strong administrative element to the position. You’ll keep property records up to date, manage contractor and supplier details, maintain inventories, and make sure the household’s systems, such as heating, lighting, and entertainment are all working as they should. You’ll arrange and oversee maintenance, carry out regular health and safety checks, accept deliveries, organise supplies, run errands, and keep the House Manuals updated. You may also help with event set-up and will occasionally travel to the family’s property in Wales to ensure everything is in good order.
The Property & House Manager will also support a small number of rental or commercial properties, responding to maintenance requests, arranging repairs, overseeing compliance checks, managing service agreements, and keeping an eye on future maintenance needs and budgets.
The role includes moving vehicles between properties, making sure MOTs, insurance, and tax are always up to date, and providing occasional driving support for the family. From time to time, you will also help with pet care, such as dog walking and occasional dog sitting. The family also has horses so you must be able to drive a horsebox and be comfortable around them .
This position would suit someone organised, proactive, and confident handling both hands-on household tasks and administrative responsibilities. You must have great communication skills, professionalism, be flexible and thrive in a busy family environment.
Only candidates with a valid UK right to work can be considered for the position.
