Job Description:
Executive Talent Solutions are working with a leading Food / FMCG business to recruit an experienced Demand Planning Analyst.
The business is a leading Italian food supplier to some of the UKs leading supermarkets and food service businesses. They have been growing rapidly over the past 5 years and have ambitious plans for the future.
The successful Demand Planner will work in the central London (Holborn) office 3 days per week with 2 days WFH. A salary between £32,000 and £40,000 is offered alongside some excellent benefits and bonus.
Role focus:
*Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
*Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
*Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
*Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
*Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
*Conduct monthly forecast maintenance and follow up
*Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
Key responsibilities:
*Demand and Supply planning: Contribute to an effective monthly S&OP process - translate SKU based monthly forecasts to an executable and effective supply plan, within the capacity constraints of the business / our partners.
*Lead solutions on supply and demand imbalances and manage communication with key stakeholders. Analyse the ever-changing production and supply plan to quickly identify stock issues, optimizing the flows of products from the factory to the end destination.
*Provide UK Sales and Operations with regular updates on any SKU shortages, risk and return to stock dates.
*Reporting: Support with weekly, monthly & quarterly assessment of Supply Chain performance, through pre-agreed KPIs aligned with SCM team. Pull together ad hoc reports and insights, depending on the requirements of the team / business.
*Cost management: Work with and support the central Supply Chain management team on the following activities: Benchmarking, Budgeting, Cost management, Cost to Serve initiatives
*Demand Planning and sales forecast for the UK market to improve the ratio between product supply chain cost and service level.
Candidates applying should have a minimum of 18 month’s experience in a Demand Planning role. Ideally within a FMCG business.
