Job Description:
Finance Assistant – Join a Busy, Dynamic Team!
Salary: £26,403 per annum (£13.69 per hour)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (office-based)
Contract: Temporary, 3–6 months (potentially until Easter)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? They are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their central finance team and help clear a large backlog of invoices. What You’ll Be Doing:
*Processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately.
*Handling purchase orders and resolving queries.
*Assisting with BACS runs and preparing transactions.
*Producing reports and supporting reconciliations.
*Communicating with suppliers and chasing outstanding payments.
What They’re Looking For:
*Strong IT skills, especially Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
*Previous finance experience (education sector desirable).
*GCSEs in Maths and English (AAT or similar qualification is a bonus).
