Job Description:
Property Solicitor (Locum) – Hybrid
Location: Midlands-based Local Authority
Hours: 21 hours per week (over 3 days, office hours)
Working Pattern: Mondays in office, Friday non-working
Contract: Locum
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join a Midlands-based local authority on a locum basis. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, with a requirement to attend the office on Mondays.
Key Responsibilities
*Handling Right to Buy property transactions and buy-back cases.
*Drafting and advising on consent orders.
*Managing sale and purchase of properties.
*Processing Assets of Community Value applications.
*Advising on lease extensions and renewals.
Requirements
*Practising Certificate essential.
*Proven experience in local authority property matters.
*Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes.
*Excellent ability to build and maintain client rapport.
*Experience using IKEN or similar case management systems.
