What you’ll be doing
• Drafting legal costs schedules for hearings, mainly across Housing Disrepair and Environmental Act matters
• Negotiating costs on concluded cases and ensuring recovery without unnecessary faff
• Liaising with fee earners and solicitors to keep costs accurate and timely
• Supervising and supporting junior costs paralegals
• Carrying out enforcement activity where relevant
• Pitching in with general team duties when needed

What they’re looking for
• Around two years’ experience in costs drafting
• Confidence communicating with fee earners and external parties
• Strong written work, attention to detail and the ability to work at pace • Solid IT skills
• Experience using CostsMaster is useful but not essential
