Job Description:
Client Accountant
Location: East Manchester
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid (after probationary period)
About the Role:
We are a small, friendly accountancy practice looking for a Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients, primarily SMEs and limited companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships and delivering high-quality service in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of accounts and year-end financial statements
*VAT returns and submissions
*Corporation tax computations and returns
*CIS returns
*Managing and advising a portfolio of clients
About You:
*Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/AAT or equivalent)
*Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice is essential
*Strong knowledge of SME and limited company accounting
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
