About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engine Fitter to join a specialist engineering team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for stripping, assessing, rebuilding, and testing engines and components to meet strict specifications. If you have strong mechanical skills and enjoy working in a precision-driven environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
*Strip down and assess engines and components following detailed work instructions.
*Carry out component inspections and determine fitness for purpose.
*Record additional Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
*Rebuild and test engines to original equipment or military specifications.
*Report faults and follow guidance from the Workshop Supervisor.
*Maintain high standards of workmanship while working efficiently.
*Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
*Accurately record job activities daily using the internal ERP system.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in engine fitting, mechanical assembly, or remanufacturing.
*Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
*Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
*Good verbal and written communication skills.
*Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel) or willingness to train.
*Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
*Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
