This role involves managing the accounts payable process within the industrial and manufacturing industry, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Description
*Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.
*Maintain accurate records of transactions in the accounting system.
*Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
*Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
*Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable should have:
*Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
*Ability to commute to High Wycombe.
*Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
Job Offer
*Hourly rate ranging from £27,000 to £33,000 annually equivalent.
