About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to join a dynamic accountancy practice in Billericay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounting or finance who wants to grow their career in a supportive and flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare annual accounts, VAT returns, and basic director personal tax returns
*Conduct fee reviews to ensure accurate billing and profitability
*Onboard new clients onto software platforms and provide training
*Manage VAT registrations and de-registrations
*Assist with company closure processes
*Liaise with clients to gather documentation and provide updates
*Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
*Participate in pre-year-end calls and manage invoicing processes
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in an accounting practice
*Strong understanding of VAT regulations and company closure procedures
*Excellent communication and client management skills
*Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
*AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification desirable but not essential
