I’m working with a highly regarded, long-standing law firm in Tonbridge that is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor for its expanding Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a varied caseload within a firm known for its supportive environment and commitment to professional development.

The Opportunity
You’ll join a busy and collaborative team handling a wide range of private client matters, including:

Estate and care fees planning

Wills and will drafting

Lasting Powers of Attorney

Court of Protection work

Trust creation and administration

Probate and estate administration

Inheritance tax planning

Charity matters

Deputyships

While STEP membership is desirable, it’s not essential. The firm actively supports training and is happy to consider candidates currently studying or planning to study toward STEP.

Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a solicitor with solid experience across wills, trusts, estates, and tax matters. You should be capable of independently managing your caseload and able to demonstrate:

Strong technical knowledge within private client law

Excellent communication and client care skills

The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment

A proactive, professional and well-organised approach

Dedicated secretarial support is provided.
