Job Description:
Senior Lettings Consultant
Location: Brighton
Salary: £30k - £35k DOE + commission
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:45 AM-5:30 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (typically 1 in 3); extended Saturday hours during August and September (9:00 AM-5:00 PM) with no annual leave during peak season
Requirement: Must have a full UK driving licence and own transport

No two days are the same—valuations, viewings, negotiations, relationship building and supporting a buzzing office environment. If you love variety, responsibility, and delivering outstanding customer service, this role will keep you motivated and challenged.
Responsibilities:
*Carry out accurate market appraisals and valuations with confidence and professionalism.
*Generate and secure new business, expanding the student lettings portfolio.
*Conduct viewings, handle enquiries, and negotiate successful lets.
*Build and maintain strong landlord, tenant and applicant relationships.
*Provide clear, timely feedback to landlords and support them throughout the process.
*Ensure all compliance requirements are met including Right to Rent, AML and referencing.
*Maintain the in-house CRM system with accurate and detailed records.
*Support junior colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the office.
*Potentially manage a small portfolio of student properties.
You will need:
*A proven background in lettings — ideally in student or high-volume markets.
*Exceptional sales, negotiation and communication skills.
*A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
*The ability to work under pressure while maintaining high professional standards.
*Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
