Vehicle Technician - Maidstone
Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Up to £37,000 basic + OTE up to £45,000
A well-established, family-run garage in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its team of eight. The workshop operates Monday to Friday and prides itself on delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities * Perform routine servicing, maintenance and cambelt replacements
* Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical faults
* Carry out engine repairs and replacements
* Complete detailed vehicle health checks and identify safety issues
* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately locate faults
* Update job cards and repair notes using a tablet system
Skills & Experience * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician (essential)
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and within a team
* Good communication skills
* Full UK driving licence required
* MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
