Maintenance Operative
Kettering
Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs
Salary - £12.26 ph plus on call allowance

Are you a hands-on, proactive individual who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our client’s Facilities team and help maintain the safety, efficiency, and comfort of their sites.

What You’ll Do *Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including DIY, basic plumbing, painting & decorating, and operating a forklift (FLT).
*Complete toilet and facility logs detailing work undertaken.
*Ensure site security, including opening, closing, and responding to intruder and fire alarms.
*Conduct health & safety checks and perform occasional heavy lifting.
*Carry out pool car maintenance and safety checks.
*Act as a key holder and support hospitality requirements when needed.
Shift Pattern (Rotating Split Shift):
*Week 1: Mon–Fri, 5:30am – 1:30pm
*Week 2: Mon–Fri, 8:00am – 4:00pm
*Week 3: Mon–Fri, 11:00am – 7:00pm
About You We’re seeking someone who:
*Works well both independently and as part of a team.
*Is flexible, adaptable, and has a positive, "can-do" attitude.
*Builds effective relationships across departments.
*Holds a full driving licence and is willing to train as a first aider.
*Has strong problem-solving skills and takes initiative.
