Management Accountant
Location: Bedford (Hybrid working)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Reports to: FC/FD
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and reports.
*Support annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with operational managers.
*Monitor cost control across departments.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with financial policies.
*Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
*Liaise with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
*Continuously improve financial processes and reporting systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
*Previous experience in management accounting, ideally in asset-intensive industries.
*Strong communication skills to explain financial information to non-financial managers.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
*High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Flexible and proactive approach to work.
