Reed Practice is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Romsey. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a varied role across audit and accounts within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will:
*Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
*Assist with corporation tax computations and VAT returns
*Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their development
*Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and deliver high-quality service
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
*Work closely with managers and partners to support client retention and business growth
About You
You are ACA or ACCA qualified and:
*Have strong experience in both audit and accounts within a UK accountancy practice
*Possess excellent technical knowledge of financial reporting and auditing standards
*Are confident managing client relationships and leading assignments
*Have strong organisational and time management skills
*Are proficient in accounting and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office
