Job Description:

Elevation have exclusively partnered with a growing engineering business to assist them in hiring an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant through a period of rapid growth.

If you love Purchase Ledger, supplier reconciliations and resolving queries then this is the role for you. This business will support you from day one, giving you the tools and training you need to perform your best. Due to rapid growth there is a backlog of invoices and queries ready for you get organised and input onto Sage 50. You will also be assisting with queries and reconciling supplier accounts.

Key Responsibilities as a Purchase Ledger Assistant:


*Process purchase invoices and credit notes.
*Conduct regular supplier statement reconciliations.
*Manage and resolve discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
*Assist with payment runs and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
*Maintain accurate records and support month end closing activities.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills and Qualifications:


*Proven experience in a purchase ledger role.
*Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software.
*Strong understanding of supplier reconciliations.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
*Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.
