Employment Solicitor (2+ years’) – Edinburgh
A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Solicitor to join a well-regarded Employment team based in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of advisory work, tribunal matters and client-facing responsibility within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity:
You will work across a broad range of employment law matters, with the chance to take on significant contentious work from the outset.
Responsibilities include:
*Advising on day-to-day employment and HR queries
*Preparing Tribunal submissions and managing case correspondence
*Drafting witness statements and conducting legal research
*Advocacy opportunities in Employment Tribunals and appeal hearings
*Drafting contracts, handbooks and policy documentation
*Supporting non-contentious work, including TUPE-related matters
*Contributing to training, workshops and wider team initiatives
*This role provides strong exposure to complex and high-profile employment law matters, along with excellent opportunities to develop advocacy skills
About You:
*3-7 years’ PQE with experience in Employment Tribunal work
*Strong client focus and commercial awareness
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Confident managing a varied caseload
*Proactive, team-focused and keen to develop advocacy experience
