Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant & Lunchtime Supervisor (Mornings Only)
Location: North Baddesley, Hampshire.
Contract: Part-Time, Term Time
Hours: 8:30am – 1:15pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: Grade B or C (depending on experience)
The Role
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our welcoming team each morning. You will work closely with pupils who have additional needs, providing tailored support to help them learn, grow in confidence, and thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
What You’ll Do
*Support pupils with SEN individually or in small groups, following teacher and SENCo guidance.
*Adapt activities to meet individual needs and encourage inclusion.
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
*Assist with personal care (e.g., toileting, changing) in line with school policy and training.
*Help create a safe, engaging learning space.
*Record and share observations and progress with staff.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents.
*Supervise and support children during lunchtime as part of the midday team.
About You
*Experience with SEN (preferred but not essential – training provided).
*Patient, compassionate, and respectful of children’s dignity.
*Comfortable providing personal care professionally.
*A team player who builds positive relationships.
*Reliable, flexible, and committed to inclusion.
