Sales Executive / Sales Support

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Executive to join our Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within an existing customer base while securing new business opportunities. This is a fully office-based role, working closely with an experienced team to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage an individual portfolio of customers, ensuring profitability and growth targets are met.
*Build and maintain strong customer relationships to influence order levels.
*Proactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate sales.
*Monitor customer order levels and product mix to achieve/exceed monthly budgets.
*Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts and proactive plans during KPI review meetings.
*Act as the first point of contact for new business enquiries and follow up directly with customers.
*Support existing sales managers and Head of Sales with administrative tasks.
*Provide cover for customer service, including order input and query resolution.
Requirements
*Strong organisational and administrative skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
*Previous telesales, sales, or administrative experience preferred.
*Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with customers.
*Positive, proactive, and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
*Experience in FMCG food & drink sector is advantageous but not essential.
