Learning Support Assistant | Waltham Forest | £82.14-£100 per day | ASAP Start Reeson Education is recruiting a confident and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils with additional needs and supporting learning across the school.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and social-emotional needs. The school is friendly, inclusive, and offers outstanding support to staff.
Role Details for the Learning Support Assistant: * Daily Rate: £82.14-£100 (PAYE)

* Start Date: ASAP

* Location: Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford

* Contract: Full-time, term time only

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional help

* Assist teachers with differentiated learning tasks and classroom routines

* Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills

* Help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams

Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant: * Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or SEN support worker

* Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language needs

* Calm, patient, and resilient approach when supporting pupils

* Ability to follow individual support plans and adapt quickly

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
