About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and support.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Implement and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as required.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
