Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation based in Chesterfield, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Manufacturing Administrator to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a background in technical documentation and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide comprehensive administrative support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
*Manage technical administration tasks, including maintaining accurate production records and updating technical documentation.
*Oversee document control processes, ensuring all manufacturing and compliance documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and accessible.
*Support quality administration, including preparing reports, tracking non-conformance issues, and assisting with audits.
*Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve queries.
*Prepare and update documentation, reports, and spreadsheets as required.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in an administrative role within a manufacturing or technical environment is essential.
*Knowledge of document control systems and quality management processes is highly desirable.
*Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
*Excellent organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
