This is an exciting opportunity for a Rents and Service Charge Officer to join the not-for-profit sector in Preston and surrounding areas. The role focuses on ensuring accurate management of rents and service charges within the Accounting & Finance department.

Description
As a Rents and Service Charge Officer duties will include but are not limited to:
*Manage the calculation and administration of rents and service charges.
*Prepare monthly lease payment schedules
*Calculating annual rent increases
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
*Prepare and distribute accurate rent and service charge statements.
*Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
*Maintain and update accurate records of payments and adjustments.
*Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for rents and service charges.
*Provide detailed reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
*Respond to queries from tenants and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Profile
A successful Rents and Service Charge Officer should have:
*A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
*Experience in managing rents and service charges.
*Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*An ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with tenants and stakeholders.
