About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher with expertise in Science or Maths to join our team in Halifax. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality, inclusive education to pupils with additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Science or Maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN requirements, including those with EHCPs.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent progress.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted interventions where necessary.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science or Maths, ideally within an SEN setting.
Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
