Learning Support Assistant - SEND School (Leeds) £101.40-£120 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Immediate & January Starts Available

About the Role A specialist SEND school in Leeds is seeking an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join their highly nurturing and forward-thinking team. You will be working with pupils aged 4-19 with a range of needs, including:
* Autism (ASC)
* Non-verbal communication
* Learning disabilities
* Sensory needs
* Complex needs
* Medical needs (training provided)
This is a long-term, full-time school-based role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
What You’ll Be Doing * Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting with communication, sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
* Helping to deliver personalised learning plans
* Working collaboratively with teachers and therapists
* Providing support with medical or personal care needs (training provided)
* Creating a calm, positive and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For We’d love to hear from you if you have experience in ANY of the following:
* SEND classroom support
* Autism / non-verbal support
* Youth work / care / residential work
* Early Years / Nursery background
* Behaviour or SEMH support
* Personal care or healthcare support
Passion, patience and a willingness to learn are more important than formal qualifications.
