Job Description:
SEMH Teacher – Nailsea (Full-Time)
We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in Nailsea. This is a long-term position with the potential to continue beyond the academic year for the right candidate.
Role Details:
*Location: Nailsea
*Position: Full-time
*Start Date: ASAP
*Contract: Long-term
*Pay: Dependent on experience (to be discussed at interview)
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
*Proven experience working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
*Ability to manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
*Strong communication and resilience skills.
Responsibilities:
*Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
*Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement.
*Work closely with support staff and external agencies.
*Maintain accurate records of progress and behaviour.
*Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
