Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dependable and versatile Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber to join their experienced and expanding team.

Requirements
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a water hygiene, risk assessment or plumbing-based role
*City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification desirable
Legionella Risk Assessor
*Full UK driving licence
*Ability to travel nationally and stay away when required
*Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
*Physically capable (lifting, carrying, climbing) where required
*Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports
Duties & Responsibilities
*Conduct Legionella risk assessments across various facilities to identify hazards and sources of bacterial risk
*Collect water samples and undertake on-site testing
*Produce detailed written reports with recommendations
*Support clients in developing or improving water management plans
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ACOP L8 and associated regulations
*Temperature monitoring of outlets, tanks, calorifiers and closed systems
*Flushing of little-used outlets
*Showerhead cleaning and descaling
*Cold water storage tank inspections and disinfections
*TMV servicing and checks
*Closed system sampling, analysis and dosing
*Removal of dead legs and dead ends
*Replacement of ball valves, taps, TMVs, water heaters, fittings and components
*Pipework rerouting and insulation works
