About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join an independent special educational needs school in Putney. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with Autism and ADHD.
The successful candidate will work closely with a Year 2 pupil, providing tailored support to help them access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide one-to-one support for a child with ASD and ADHD.
*Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
*Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
*Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.
*Promote independence and confidence in the child’s learning journey.
Requirements:
*Previous experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASD and ADHD.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable but not essential).
