Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding & CP Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Undertake child protection investigations and assessments in line with statutory requirements and local safeguarding procedures.
*Develop and implement child protection plans, ensuring timely interventions to reduce risk and promote safety.
*Work closely with families to identify strengths and address concerns, supporting positive change where possible.
*Collaborate with multi-agency partners, including health, education, and police, to deliver coordinated safeguarding responses.
*Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, court proceedings, and statutory reviews.
*Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with legislation, guidance, and best practice standards.
*Participate in duty rota and respond promptly to urgent safeguarding concerns.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
