About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting childrens development.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable.
