Demand Planner
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our clients dynamic team within the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in demand planning and forecasting, strong analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel. This role requires someone with a stable work history and the ability to deliver accurate forecasts that drive business performance.
This is purely a Demand Planning position. No Sponsorship is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
*Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
*Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
*Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, macros) to manage and interpret large data sets.
*Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on forecast performance and inventory planning.
*Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes to ensure optimal stock levels and service performance.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting within the FMCG sector (minimum 2 years preferred).
*Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and modelling.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
*Knowledge of ERP systems and forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, APO, or similar) is advantageous.
