Job Description:
SEO Executive / SEO Consultant / SEO Manager / SEO Lead
£350-450 p/d - Outside IR35 - Fully remote - 6 month contract
Overview:
We are on the search for an SEO Executive to strengthen local search visibility across multiple locations during our rebranding and website migration.
This role will focus on providing local SEO expertise in the management and optimisation of local listings through Yext. Ensuring that all content and templates align with both business requirements and SEO best practices, while maintaining accurate and consistent data across directories like Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing etc.,
Working closely with project stakeholders, content editors, marketing and the SEO Lead, the SEO Executive will help minimise rebranding risks such as traffic loss, customer confusion, and data inconsistencies.
Key Responsibilities
*Benchmark current local listing performance and document baseline data for comparison after rebranding rollout.
*Audit and optimise the existing Yext setup to ensure accurate and consistent data across all connected directories.
*Collaborate with content teams to ensure location pages and listings align with SEO best practices and new brand guidelines
*Monitor and report local performance metrics using Yext analytics, Google Search Console, and GA4, highlighting improvements and issues during roll out of rebrand.
*Provide guidance to stakeholders on local SEO strategy and Yext functionality throughout the rebranding process.
Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience with Yext or similar local listing management platforms (e.g., BrightLocal, Uberall, Moz Local).
*Hands-on experience with Google Business Profile, Bing Places, and Apple Business Connect, including optimisation, verification and troubleshooting.
*Strong understanding of local SEO strategies, including data consistency, citation management, and geo targeted content.
*Content writing and optimisation skills, with the ability to create and refine location-specific content that aligns with SEO best practices and new brand guidelines.
*Analytical skills for monitoring performance using Yext analytics, GA4, and Google Search Console.

*Jira - task tracking, workflow management, testing and progress reporting
