Job Description:
Role Title: Permanent/Long-Term Secondary School Teacher
Location: New Forest, Hampshire.
Contract Type: Permanent / Long-Term.
Start Date: January 2026.
Salary: £32,916 to £51,048
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teacher to join our team on a permanent or long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students aged 11–16 (or 11–18, depending on school), fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and contributing to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
*Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
*Participate in school events, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities.
*Uphold school policies and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 desirable).
*Strong subject knowledge in your subject.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
*Experience with SEN or EAL students.
*Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
*Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programs.
