Business Development Associate (Pharmaceutical)
Location: London
Role Type: Full time & permanent position
Salary: £35k - £45k DOE
Reed Scientific is working with a dynamic medical device company producing revolutionary products within the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently looking for a commercially aware scientist with a strong background within the pharmaceutical industry to support with future business development to allow their business to expand further into international markets.
Duties of the role:
*Identifying new business opportunities and market users of specific medical device being manufactured
*Keeping up to date with changes in the market and trends and competitor activity
*Initiating and maintaining contact with potential customers
*Providing key product information to potential customers to manage customers’ needs and expectations
Skills & experience required:
*Minimum of BSc/MSc in Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Pharmacology
*Previous experience of working within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or Pharmacy company either within a laboratory, production or commercial role
*Additional experience working within a commercial role which would involve client development, customer/technical support or account management
*Highly motivated and target-driven
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with key decision makers
*Ability to travel (a third of your time in this role would be spent travelling to the USA and Europe)
