Job Description:
Reed have partnered with a manufacturing client based in Cheddar, Somerset recruiting for a Sales Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a newly created position to support the Business Development team and drive sales growth. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in handling customer enquiries, managing quotations, and ensuring smooth coordination of sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Handle incoming customer and prospect enquiries via phone and email
*Prepare and process quotations accurately and promptly
*Record and manage enquiries and quotations in company systems
*Support the Business Development Lead with quotes, purchase orders, and communications
*Proactively follow up on quotes and orders
*Provide general administrative support to the sales team
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in a sales support role (ideally within a business development or commercial environment)
*Strong customer service orientation and professional telephone manner
*Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
*Some sales experience is essential, as the role includes an element of cold business development
Additional Information:
*Quarterly bonus based on location sales performance
*Training and support provided by the Business Development Lead
*Team of 3, collaborative and supportive environment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (fully office-based)
Annual Leave: 31 days including bank holidays (+ additional days for long service)
