Client Details
We are seeking a proactive, experienced Management Accountant to join an established finance team. You will play a key role in owning full month end processes, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.
Description
*Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
*Analyse P&L to identify trends and improvement areas.
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations, revaluations, and cost centre reviews.
*Manage cash flow forecasts and flag issues to senior management.
*Produce reports on sales, purchases, cash, and inventory.
*Conduct customer sales GAP analysis and calculate minimum cash requirements.
*Support budgeting and forecasting.
*Monitor expenditure and support budget control with cost centre leaders.
*Translate financial data for non-financial managers.
*Support the FD with decision-making and ad hoc projects.
*Assist with audits and reporting.
*Guide and support the transactional finance team.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC regulation
Profile
*Experience owning monthly management accounts
*A part qualified accountant studying towards professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
*Strong Excel skills
*Experience using SAP - Essential
*Good understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
*Excellent communication / business partnering
*Ambition to develop professionally and take on new challenges
