We are seeking a detail oriented Tax Accountant in the East Midlands, that can manage a broad range of tax functions, including compliance, reporting, and advisory duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, organisational skills, and the ability to work proactively within a dynamic business environment.
Leicester / Nottingham / East Midlands

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review corporate tax returns and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.
Support the business on tax requirements related to acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
Monitor compliance deadlines and prepare supporting documentation for tax submissions.
Assist in implementing and improving tax processes and controls in collaboration with finance teams.
Advise management and stakeholders on tax matters, providing up-to-date technical guidance.
Liaise with external advisors and regulatory authorities during tax reviews and audits.
Provide support on ad hoc tax projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements:
Proven experience in corporate taxation within industry, accountancy practice, or similar environments.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) or equivalent tax training.
Strong understanding of multi-entity and acquisition-heavy corporate structures.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tax matters.
Experience working to varied and tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
