Job Description:
Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth private equity firm to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a broad, hands-on finance role within a lean but high-performing team. Reporting into CEO.
Based in South Kensington.
The Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing finance function within a boutique private equity firm. The role will work directly with the CEO, covering mostly accounting with some fund exposure and contribute to strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day finance operations
*Preparing monthly management accounts for group entities, funds, SPVs and construction projects.
*Coordinate with third-party fund administrators on fund accounting and reporting
*Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (IFRS/GAAP)
*Support VAT returns, tax compliance, and audit processes
*Assist with treasury management and cash flow forecasting
*Maintain financial models for performance tracking and analysis
*Contribute to management and board reporting
*Collaborate with investment and operations teams across jurisdictions
*Identify and implement process improvements as the firm scales
Ideal Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
*ACA qualified (preferred) or strong ACCA with financial services focus
*1-3 years PQE in industry, ideally within private equity or financial services
*Strong technical accounting knowledge; IFRS/GAAP essential
*Experience at a Big 4 firm or similar highly desirable
*Experience with listed companies
Soft Skills
*Proactive, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset
*Strong attention to detail with a commercial outlook
*Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
