Job Description:
Accountant (Management Accounts) – Westerham | £35,000–£40,000 | 1-Year FTC

They’re looking for a hands-on Accountant to take ownership of financial and management accounting, controls, and analysis across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical skills who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
The Role
Management Accounting & Analysis
*Prepare prepayments, accruals, and depreciation with full reconciliations.
*Ensure accurate cost recharges and correct allocation of revenue/costs.
*Analyse product profitability and P&L variances versus budget and prior years.
*Produce management accounts reports and support budgeting/forecasting cycles.
Financial Accounting
*Process credit cards and employee expenses in Sage.
*Manage cash flow, weekly supplier payments, and multi-currency balances.
*Carry out credit control, debtor monitoring, and liaison with collection agencies.
*Reconcile intercompany transactions and allocate shared group costs.
*Handle AP/AR processing, invoice entry, and supplier reconciliations.
*Provide cover during holidays (urgent invoicing, supplier postings, bank payments).
*Assist with audits when required.
About You
*Solid financial accounting knowledge including basic VAT.
*High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidence in Excel.
*Strong management accounting experience (variance analysis, accruals, profitability).
*Able to interpret financial results commercially.
*Clear communicator with 5+ years’ relevant experience.
*AAT or study towards a technical qualification are beneficial.
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
